POINTCAST · LAYERS RADIO · TRIAL v2

Send a feeling across the room.

Pick a mood and press Send. Your device plays your call sign, then a short burst of sound. A phone or laptop nearby with Listen on shows the mood.

1. Open this page on two devices in the same room.
2. On one, press Listen and allow the microphone.
3. On the other, pick a mood and press Send.

Start with your volume low. This is a trial: reception between real devices has not been proven yet, and that is what it's for.

Your call sign is a four-note melody and a little mark made from a random alias. It changes every time you load the page and isn't tied to any account, so anyone could copy it. Friends learn it by ear; nothing proves who sent it.

Privacy. Listen uses your microphone only while it's on, only to decode bursts. Audio is never recorded, stored or uploaded and never plays through your speakers. Esc or Stop closes the microphone, and so does leaving the page. Anything sent through the air is public.

Inside Layers: add ?radio=1 to any PointCast page and open the LAYERS deck to use Radio there. A friend's mood can then wash over the page you're reading, only if you turn that on.
